AUTOMOTIVE ALUMINUM ANODIZING

Automotive anodizing is a smaller but active part of what we do at NIA — trim components, brackets, and functional parts that need consistent finish quality and reliable turnaround. If you have automotive aluminum that needs anodizing, we can help.

WHAT WE ANODIZE FOR AUTOMOTIVE

APPEARANCE-CRITICAL PARTS

Trim, brightwork, and visible components where color and finish need to match across a production run. Sulfuric Anodize Type II delivers the corrosion resistance and color uniformity this work demands.

WEAR-CRITICAL PARTS

Brackets, housings, and functional components that face friction, heat, or demanding environments. Sulfuric Anodize Type III (hardcoat) builds a thicker, harder oxide layer for durability under stress.

STANDARDS WE WORK TO

Automotive anodizing can be specified to AAC1119 Automotive Standard requirements as well as MIL-A-8625, depending on what your program calls for.

VOLUME AND CONSISTENCY

Production runs don’t tolerate part-to-part variation. Our ISO 9001-certified quality systems test coating, gloss, seal, and shade on every run.

TWO LINES AVAILABLE

Our precision line handles tight-tolerance machined automotive components. Our primary line handles larger fabricated parts and extrusions. Both run 24/7 with 48-hour quote turnaround.
